Check compatibility before connecting Claude Code.
Direct connection
Claude Code requires an Anthropic-compatible Messages API. uRouter currently exposes OpenAI Chat Completions, so setting ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to uRouter will not work. Direct Claude Code setup is not supported yet.
Use a chat-compatible client
For a coding client with a configurable Chat Completions endpoint, see OpenCode. You can also use the OpenAI SDK directly. Client tool use depends on the model and its supported parameters.
